Hi There - LB/So Coffee this month
Hi Gang....I know I know I have been totally MIA....but I guess FB has gotten the better of me...I just wanted to stop in and say howdy to all my pals and welcome to all the newbies...I know there are tons and tons of you newbies I don't know and that don't know me so I am posting my before and afters below just to show that YOU CAN DO THIS.....My before was Aug2007 and the after is September 2009.....WLS/RNY has been the journey of a life time and I am so happy now it is umbelievable and I am unstoppable in everything I do now.....who knew there was a life to lead out there in the big world.
Anyway - just wanted to invite evryone to our monthly coffee gathering
January 30th - Saturday
Starbucks
2890 Bellflower Blvd
In the Kmart/Lowes center at Bellflower Blvd and Spring St
10:00 am until usually about noon
This is a GRRRREEEEEAAAAATTTT group of people some of which have become life long friends to me....we welcome everyone...come and share your story, get advice, ask questions or just come and hang out with us.....
Everyone have a great wednesday hump day....
Hugs to all and I will try not to stay away so long....I am looking forward to going to the Event in the OC in May....I went to the one that was in LA - what last year (2008) and what a blast it was...this one is even closer for me...woo hoo.

Hi Jean. I had surgery two weeks ago today. Saw Dr Lee on the Saturday, Monday and Wednesday after surgery and again this past Monday, January 11th. Dr. Lee has put me on total bed rest due to my drains having too much fluid. Once the drains have 30cc or less over a 24 hour period he will remove them and I am hoping for this Friday! Other than that, I am doing well and still think of Dr. Lee as the best!

Thanks Diane. Just woke up from my little nap (LMAO) after my morning post. I am definitely following Dr. Lee's orders and he is the best. Hope to see you at the January LB Coffee.

You are such an inspiration Jean....if to no one else, you are one to me. You look amazing, no just good, you look great!!! What the nicest part is, that you are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside! You make me realize that anything is possible in life. We lived our lives as the fat person, now we are so blessed to live on the greener side of the grass and live the lives we only dreamt of. Thank you for posting your pic, hopefully people will take note what is really possible with hard work and determination.

OMG Diane you make me cry.....you are so sweet.....and such an awesome person...I am jst so sorry that we didn't meet 30 years ago...can you imagine what a blast we would have had allthee years...guess we just need tomake up for lost time....thanks so much for the kudos....and you just wait till Dr Lee gets one with you......woo to the hoo.....Take care see you VERY soon.....
